If you want the most profitable small business you are going to have to work both smart and hard. Luckily those are the cornerstones of guerilla marketing which says that you do not have to spend the most amount of money to get the consumers attention so long as you are willing to put real effort into promotions. While there is a multitude of ways to implement guerilla marketing at it’s core the message is simple: “Be different”. If you are doing something different than what your competition is doing consumers will take notice and they’re remember your advertisement that made them laugh. They’ll take notice of your creative ad placement and if you are lucky they’ll tell a friend about it too.

One great method would be to send people into a touristy section of town and walk around and ask strangers if they know where your business is.

Many tourists are often looking for something new to try and if they get two or three strangers approaching them asking about your business chances are they’ll consider stopping in to see what all the fuss is about. While that example might not work for everyone you can see how easy this is. When you really get down and think about it guerilla marketing is more fun and interesting than conventional marketing and it will save you money in the long term.
