There are many scams, posers, wannabes on that forum.. There are a few good people but not many. I have been banned 6 times, well actually 5 the last one is not a ban it is a redirect. So my good standing account does not look bad on them it does not say banned but I certainly can not login, if I do I get redirected to my forum.

Do I care ?? Not really ... Many got jealous of me on there because I did some serious hurt to their article marketing business...lol I have one of the most popular backlinks / bookmarking service that forum has ever seen with 1,500+ and 35 pages long. All bookmarking done "LEGALLY" and not using some lame xrumer crap.

Many tried to follow me and failed and many got angry.. The posers and wannabes wanted me banned. After my 4th ban I created my own forum, on my 5th ban I did not make anymore contributions but ran my WSO ...

My last ban/redirect - I created a video posted on youtube many losers got angry and attached me on youtube. I laughed! I also registered a version of their lame domain name and point it to my forum ..lol

...I have a "got banned" story too but I'm too tired to key it in right now. :-) Probably in the days to come.

One quick question though...

Couldn't a banned person start all over with somehow using a new IP and name? Bet they could.

Serve em' right ha ha.

Thank you for your comment. Believe me, I know exactly what you are saying, and, I actually agree with you. The problem, or better said, the reason why I still keep coming back is the fact, that there indeed are some excellent posts and advise on WF. It is a struggle between pride and pragmatism. To me, WF remains a good resource DESPITE of Allan (and the moderators), not thanks to them. I figured, the only one I would be punishing by not learning all I can from WF would be myself. It was a business decision on my part, not emotional one.

That you would recommend the Warrior Forum after being unfairly and dishonestly banned is surprising. It is partly because of this type of thinking that Allen Says does not feel compelled to change his ridiculous moderator system.

Allowing the inmates to run the asylum while disallowing any semblace of free speech is reason enough for me to warn folks to avoid the Warrior Forum.

Technically Jody, you are correct in that all members can *act* as moderators, but they do not have the final say. If you read the thread "members are moderators" you can see that they can report a thread and it will be temporarily removed allowed the *actual* moderators to come along and permanently remove it. Those supposed read moderators are the ones that have the final say and they can, if they wanted to, reverse a members vindictive reporting.

I've not been banned from the forum yet, however I have had my posts removed. One of them by someone who was purposely trying to drag my name through the mud and when I pointed out the simple fact that he needed to learn to read properly as he was completely stuffing up his quotes and accussations, all MY posts were deleted.

Member moderation is a poor system with too many flaws and a big downfall for the Warrior Forum. Especially when the powers that be don't take the time to investigate every issue and just follow blindly with what ever the members have done.

With regards to pointing out the flaws in a WSO, it may not just be because you didn't buy it, but because you pointed out the flaw. There's a whole section of the "Being a beter moderator" sticky that basically says they don't allow that because 99% of the time everyone who's pointing it out is either, and I quote, "just expressing gripes or grudges. Some are trying to blackmail a merchant to get something they don't deserve. Others are outright lies. The majority are people who simply don't understand how something is supposed to work and who are angry because they're confused."

Like you Mr Affiliate Chronicle, my issue is more with the complete silence that follows a banning or thread action.

When you come back in the morning to see if anyone has posted replies to your question, only to be completely unable to find your thread is frustrating. To realise it's been deleted and have NO idea what you've done wrong is even worse… how do they expect people to learn from mistakes?

When I questioned this method, I was mocked and laughed at that "omg how could I expect them to send a message to every user when they are such a busy forum?!" I was labelled stupid for even thinking such a thing. Yet I, who ran a forum of 40,000 plus members myself (and ran it completely alone for the majority of the time) found the time to notify EVERY member when their thread was moved, edited or deleted. So yes, not only was I "stupid" in thinking other forum owners would respect their members the same, but was surprised to find it was not the case…

Thanks for your comment Jody. Yep, I am sure we all actually broke some strange rules WF has. In fact, I believe that one of the rules, and possibly the one I broke, is, that you are not supposed to talk about the Warrior Offers, unless you actually purchased it first.
The thing is, that whatever the rules, the mods simply do things in a strange way. No warnings, no replies to your objections, in fact, they do not even let you know if you were banned or not - you find out by not being able to log in. Oh well, life goes on.

The more comments I read from people who have been banned from the Warrior Forum, the more convinced I am that most people don't understand their 'moderation' system...another of Allen Says 'brilliant ideas.'

There is a 'sticky' on the forum (which I didn't read until after I got banned myself, either ) written by the Great Man himself explaining the new monitoring system. I don't remember the date it was posted, but it was quite some time ago.

The gist of it is that any member can ban someone. Supposedly, these bans are to be bumped up to a real moderator for approval, but apparently they aren't.

So, Nicola and Admin, when you contacted those crooked WSO sellers, they themselves probably banned you to stop you from exposing their fradulent 'products.'

Naturally, there is going to be an army of wannabe big shots who revel in their banning power and are constantly on the look-out for victims.

If you go to some other computer than the one you were using when you were banned (a friend's, a public one, etc.), you can get onto the site for reading only, and that sticky is right up top in the Announcements section. I can't remember its exact title, but it's something about being a better member moderator. Thinking that it was addressing real moderators with regard to moderating mere members, I had never read it. Everyone should!

Thank you for your comment. I see you got lucky - only 6 month ban. :-)
I was fairly polite too. In fact, I just posted a portion of Digg's TOS pointing out that the provider's service was in violation with it. And just asked, if he informs his clients about it. And that was last thing I posted....
I never bought any WSO there. I saw some I thought I could like, but everyone seems so be so pushy with their offers. And if anyone starts selling "secrets" or "how-I-made-10k-in-a-week schemes", I just skip those offers. And that's a majority of them, so it seems.
Anyway, I still go on the forum, but generally just to read tips and advice from more experienced members. In that aspect, the forum is very good. But I do feel that the amount of scam and questionable offers makes the whole forum look like another 'get rich quick' scams. Which is a shame, because there really is a lot of value. You just have to dig through a lot of trash.
Good luck!

Thank goodness I'm not alone. I have been banned today for more or less the same crime you commited. I questioned a WSO as I had bought the product and it was a blatent scam.

Long and short of it is, this member was advocating the use of subliminal messaging to brainwash people into buying your product. I did the hangable offense of asking her if she had used a subliminal message on the sales video on the WSO offer. I asked twice, she wouldn't comment - I was banned!

She is still selling her thin, poor quality product and has actually hiked the price up by $10!!.....that's audacity for you!

So there you have it. The good guy who tries to save others from a scammer gets banned.

Best of it was, I remained polite. I used her own quotes to back up my questions and I even praised Allen Says in the post saying that he had worked hard to make the WSO a place for high quality products!

It was probably the last comment that got me a 6 month ban and not a permanent, although that might change if he reads what I have been saying on several blogs like this one. lol

My gut feeling is when the ban is lifted to tell them to stuff it where the sun doesn't shine....sideways! But I'm not going to cut my nose off to spite my face as that's my emotional side talking.

I will use the Warrior Forum merely for posting WSO's - only, I will post legitimate, high quality ones.

As for adding any worth or value in posts......they can whistle!

You're not alone,
